Olivia Greene’s journey into the world of golf began at the tender age of 6, when she first swung a club under the guidance of her father, James Greene. Quickly catching the bug for the game, Olivia transitioned into competitive play, securing her first tournament victory at just 10 years old. Her talent and work ethic paid off with her win at the 2024 VSGA Virginia State 9 Hole Championship.

Beyond her achievements on the course, Olivia is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She has been an active participant in organizations such as the SL Gee Foundation, CitySwing Foundation and the First Tee of Greater Washington, that have shown a commitment to introducing children of color to the game of golf. Olivia’s involvement in volunteer work and fundraisers exemplifies her genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Despite her focus on golf, Olivia’s interests extend far beyond the fairway. A dedicated STEM student with a passion for architecture and art, she channels her creative energy into endeavors such as 3D design, drawing, and painting. In her academic pursuits, Olivia demonstrates leadership as co-captain of the debate team and co-editor of the literary magazine, showcasing her multifaceted talents and unwavering dedication to excellence.

Looking ahead, Olivia’s ambitions continue to soar. With aspirations to further her golf career at the collegiate level and to one day grace the legendary grounds of Augusta National, she embodies the spirit of perseverance and determination. Rooted in her faith, Olivia draws strength from a favorite bible verse, Philippians 4:13, reminding young people that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them.
